In the food processor: 2 avocados, 2 cups basil, 2 garlic cloves and juice of a lemon. Mix into pasta -- of either grain or zucchini variety.

I'm working this weekend, from home, by an open window. I can hear lawnmowers in the distance, my dog's nails pattering across the tile. Here are a couple "home" photos I like from internet surfing, pinterest style.

quiet start to the week

Watered kumquats; sipping coffee. BTW FYI: Yesterday evening I bought five unsweetened chocolate bars on my way home from a "photoshoot." Good recipes 'round the bend. I haven't read the newspaper in five days; no clue what's going on in the world beyond my doorstep. Some good news: Mille ate a biscuit (with gusto!) a few minutes ago. Now my little lady is sleeping soundly by my feet.
